I purchased 2 bikes from Dicks Sporting goods on Carl Boyer dr in Santa Clarita on Saturday evening 4/18. I live 45 mins from this location. One for my wife and one for myself. I really didn't get to ride it around and try it out. Besides being in a store, the tires were flat, seat loose, etc. The kid on the floor that I had to go find for help, seemed he wasn't really into working that night, nor really into answering questions or wanting to be helpful. I signed what I was told were registration forms for the bike on this small old cell phone looking screen while he "tuned up" the bike. I requested at the minimum to air up the tires (that didnt happen). I took my purchase to the register, the guy that rang me out was really friendly. The next evening I took it through my neighborhood for a small ride (after airing the tires and tightening a few other items on the components), I figured out with the really bad and almost dangerous front fork suspension and not quite the size I wanted, I was going to return it. Being somebody that works and such i wasn't able to return with the bike till today Thursday 4/23. I was greeted by a cashier with a reluctant tone, and knew this was already

Ty was outstanding is his customer service. He was professional, helpful, and didn’t laugh at my silly questions about football gear. My son wasn’t with me, so I needed guidance as there were so many different options. The store is always clean. I’ve always had helpful knowledgeable staff. What’s great is that no matter what sport my son has played over the years, the staff is always there to walk us through the many questions we have. It is worth the 15 minute drive to the store!

I am writing to share my disappointing experience with Dick’s Sporting Goods following a recent order. The company has modified its in-store offerings and no longer carries outdoor equipment. When I visited the store and spoke to a representative, he confirmed this but assured me that I could order the item online, and it would arrive by today. However, when I checked the order status today, it still had not shipped, making timely delivery impossible. I was never contacted about any change in shipping times or given any other explanation. As far as they were concerned, I was left to just sit with this uncertainty indefinitely—they did not care to notify me. I contacted the store manager, who referred me to the customer service corporate number, and I spoke to them directly. Unfortunately, they only offered vague explanations. I was told that they only ship via ground, cannot guarantee timing, and that a refund is impossible until the item arrives. This lack of accountability and responsibility is, frankly, emblematic of what is often missing in American business today. Plenty off staff but they need to be more aware of people just walking around I was pretty lost walking in due to The store currently under construction and places being closed off & it's pretty big, its kept really clean and looks nice the layout was good if u know which direction to go 😅 the checkout was fast and the lady was really nice.
